Our services

Toolhub (“we”) provides Turnitin similarity checks and English proofreading. We are an independent provider and are not affiliated with Turnitin, LLC.

No repository

Files sent for checking are submitted with “no repository” and are not stored in the Turnitin database.

Check results

Reports are generated by Turnitin and we do not alter them. Settings such as sources and exclusions vary between institutions, so results are for reference only and may differ from your institution’s.

Proofreading

Proofreading covers grammar, spelling, punctuation, word choice and tone only. We do not rewrite content, add arguments or write for you. You are responsible for meeting your institution’s academic integrity rules.

Your responsibilities

You must have the right to upload your files and must give a correct email address. We are not responsible if a report cannot be delivered because of an incorrect email address.

Payment

Orders are processed only after payment is confirmed. Please include your order number in the payment reference.

Packs

A 10-check pack is valid for 18 months from issue. Unused checks expire after that. Packs cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR.
